I'm gonna drop a 350 4bbl in my 1979 stepside. I'm going to use the perfectly good M4MED qjet. I know how to wire the choke up, but I was wondering about the soliniod. Do I need some computer bs from the donor truck, or do I just need to run a 12v ign hot wire to it? The wire to the soliniod runs from the main wire conduit at the back of the motor, to the soliniod, then the other side of the wire gpes to a temp sensor in the water neck. Will it run good without the soliniod plugged up? There's nobody around here that can help me. I'm just about the only person here that'll touch a qjet because they're so complicated. Most guys trash em and go with a $200 edelbrock.

Thanks for your help...or for even just reading this.
