Made a payment arrangement, but t-mobile suspended my account anyway?

I was a little behind on my t-mobile bill due to the holidays and yesterday, I made a arrangement to pay it next week. Today I noticed that my account was suspended. This is the second time that this has happened in a few months. Frankly I am sick of t-mobile anyway and want to switch providers. Is this grounds for ending my contract without paying an early termination fee? I know they did me a favor by agreeing to a payment arrangement, but they keep screwing up. I have been with them for 5 years now and have noticed that their customer service has deteriorated significantly.
