Many Injured in Explosions at Boston Marathon

Not much is known but there were several explosions at the finish line of the Boston marathon with many injuries.

British police are currently reviewing security.

2 dead, 23 injured from two bombs is the latest according to the BBC.

Wow, that's awful. I guess we can only wait until more is known about what or who and why.

Edit: latest news seems to be that two more devices were discovered at the scene and dismantled by bomb disposal.

Interested to see who claims responsibility. Hopefully not many were hurt too badly. Hurt something about a witness seeing a lot of limb loss but hopefully that's not true.

Sky news have it as a police confirmed blast. Course this is the problem with stories like this. Most things are speculation and hearsay at this point

They have images of a man placing several backpacks down before the blast. I doubt it's a coincidence there is a young male Saudi in custody and visual evidence.

A close friend of mine was running that marathon. I'm praying he was having a slow day and was no where near the finishing line.
