....does that mean that women are hypocritical when they wont date a man because he is short?

Also, while you can do something about being overweight (yes I know it is difficult).... you can't do anything about being short.

I would date a guy if he was shorter than me but that doesn't often happen to me because I'm 5'0". I was attracted to my boyfriend when he was shorter (like 5'5") and now he's really tall (5'11"). I would love him even if he was short.

Some women are hypocritical, sure. Lots of people are. Big deal though? Not really.

It all depends on the person, really.

Actually it is hypocritical when women don't date overweight men in this case. (which, they don't)

Oh and a dude I know who is a short 5 foot nothing freak is a womanizer.
