Are there any martial arts that focus only on the sparring and not the forms? I once was in martial arts for 7+ years and I disliked forms as they really bore me. What are some martial arts that focus mainly on the sparing/fighting aspect?
By forms some may call them Katas I believe.
Only thing I remember my instructor saying was to visualize an opponent while doing the forms. I did that and got nothing form it lol.

muay thai boxing anything ur going 2 learn 2 do a certain combo shadow box do forms watever except in grappling arts bjj, sambo, wrestling, and ull get alot more sparring time with a competitive martial art like say 4 instance sanda/sanshou,muay thai, seidokaikan karate, american kickboxing, r the likes if u wanna do both up and down id suggest tryna find sambo 1st but if u cant take bjj wrestling and a striking art r 2

Unequivocally, J is correct.

Many practitioners do not have a clue about the inner teachings of their art.

That is not a deficiency on the part of the art, but the practitioner.

Muay Thai kickboxing
Judo

Basically, go to an MMA (mixed martial arts) school
