While looking at Ciaglist for used cars around Austin, TX, I found a used Mazda 6 for 3,000$ with 47k miles. I replied with an email to the saler which apparently moved to the UK, and now is trying to sale the Mazda 6 for 3,000$. He then tells me, "The car is located in Phoenix, AZ, which is 1,000 miles way. I said I'll drive there to inspect the car personally, but he then replied with "The car is sealed and ready to be shipped, and I've a contact with ebay; I can't cancel". He's also accepting paypal, which I find to be weird since if he was indeed a scammer he'd have gone for wired transfer...

He gave me the VIN number, but anyone can easily fake a VIN # to another car. This car seems to good to be true. What do you guys think?
The guy sent me a private auction through ebay. I don't see why paypal won't protect me when I'm buying a item from ebay.

well you should take a look under the hood and some car dealers steel cars.Sometimes that's why there so cheap.

its a scam paypal wont protect you or your money once it is sent for non-ebay use. Dont buy it!
