Hi
My car was taken to the mechanic for repairs who eventually failed to produce the car, and became very arrogant when I questioned him about the car.
I then took the case to court and the case was judged in my favour
The judge then asked me to produce a valuation for the car and recommended the Glasses website.
On the website the car was valued as at a private sale price of £1180 and a trade in price of £276 (a below average trade in price)
However the judge based my compensation on the below average trade in price of £276
My question now is
Since the car was taken in for repairs and not a trade in should the judge have based my compensation on the trade in price or the private sale price?
I am currently unemployed is it possible to get legal aid to appeal against this judgement?
I feel really upset by the judgement
Many thanks for your help
