im 26 and have lived here for 10 years im getting the itch that i need to expand me horizons just a little as my friends and myself are all just going around doing the same old stuff its getting quite depressing and i need to move on a bit to be able to give myself a boost i don't want to take up a evening class as i am dyslexic and find course work very stressful and to be honest my job is quite demanding although i don't work hundreds of hours a week i do have to be available to work at shortish notice if anyone has any ideas apart from collage i would be grateful. i did go to the local buddhist centre this week for amediationn class and that was superb i really enjoyed it butthat'ss only once a week i would like to do lots more stuff xx

Why don't you check out the Mature students society at the University (I used to be a member - the people at the university are a friendly bunch). You're bound to meet people there. Or the bars in Wivenhoe are a good bet.
