Do messianic jew's read the bible? Wear yamaka's? If I read correctly (probably not) Messianic jews follow all jewish laws but believe christ or yoshua as their savior. The laws being the only difference from christianity?
Yamaka's not for messianic Jews?
So what your saying is, One cant be christian and follow the food laws and other jewish laws to get closer to god? I'm trying to figure out how doing something that feels right would be such an issue to others.

answer: The difference is the name and falsely inserting Jesus/Yeshua into JEWISH rituals and holy days. They dishonor both religions. Christian beliefs are incompatible with Judaism.

They are Christians falsely calling themselves "Jews"

ALL branches of Judaism, the Torah, the US military and Israel agree - they are NOT Jews, they are Christians.

Very few "Messianics" were Jewish to begin with.
A Jew that becomes a Christian is an apostate Jew, no longer considered part of the Jewish community or religion. They cannot be called up to read from the Torah in synagogue. They cannot be buried in a Jewish cemetery. They cannot marry an Orthodox Jew and they cannot immigrate to Israel as a Jew.

In the document ‘What Evangelical Christians should know about Messianic “jews” , Martin Meyer, founder of 'jews' FOR JESUS: reveals:

‘We are an arm of the local **Church**. We are Evangelists. We are accountable to the Church. As we win and ***convert*** Jewish people, we urge them to take their place in a local Evangelical **Church**, or establish a congregation. Our duty is to aid the **Church** at large and to gather in the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.’

Jews 4 Jesus: They are the worst of those intentionally setting out to deceive others like snake-oil salesmen. They hold camps to train their missionaries on how to deceive vulnerable Jews at college (away from home for the first time) and in retirement homes especially.

they are NOT entitled to the label "Jew" - they haven't earned it and hold beliefs that are considered blasphemous in Judaism. 95% of them were NEVER Jewish. The ones that were are now apostates - no longer part of the Jewish community.

Christian beliefs and Jewish rituals doesn't make one Jewish.

Jews decide who are Jews, not Christians.

The belief in a trinity is blasphemy in Judaism. Jews do not have nor need a "divine savior" - that does not come from Judaism (few Christian beliefs do).

David Koresh said he was a prophet from G-d, do Christians accept his beliefs as just another division of Christianity and Christian beliefs, including sex with children? Of course not.

Same here - "messianics" cannot be Jews.

The idea that "messianic jews" use to promulgate the notion that one can be Jewish and another religion at the same time is based on the fallacy that there is a "Jewish race"- there is no such thing as a Jewish race. The idea of a Jewish race is a construct of the Nazis, part of their propaganda effort to justify their oppression and later extermination of the "Jewish problem". Think of it like this- if Jews are race, and one that is contaminating others because they are inferior- then the only way to protect the "superior" races is to kill the inferior one (and yes, this was a sick extension of Darwin's theory of evolution and Herbert Spencer's "survival of the fittest"- neither of these two had anything to do with the insane twist put onto their theories). Likke the Nazis, "messianic judaism" and its adherents seek to destroy Jews and Judaism- the Nazis tried to kill us ohysically, the "messianic jews" by redefining Judaism into yet another Christian sect and destroying Judaism spiritually,

The reality is that from the very start there has been no such thing as a Jewish race. In the Torah, it is understood that Yitro (a black Ethiopian), Moshe's father-in-law, converted to Judaism. When the Jews left Egypt the eruv rav (mixed multitude) left with them. By the end of the 40 years in the desert, the eruv rav had dissapeared- either having converted or left to go their own way once free of Egypt. So, even as they entered Israel for the first time behind Joshua, there was no Jewish race- but already a collection of ethnicities, races etc.

As for religion, a Jew that converts to any other religon ceases to be a member of the Jewish community. The Torah makes this point very clearly when it gives the laws of the Korban Pesach.
Shmot (Exodus) Chapter 12
43. The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "This is the statute of the Passover sacrifice: No estranged one may partake of it. ??. ????? ?????? ?? ??? ????? ??? ??? ???? ?? ?? ??? ?? ???? ??:

So it starts off the list of those not allowed to eat of it with the 'estranged one" i.e. the Jew who has changed to another religion

After listing others, allowed and disallowed from eating the Korban Pesach it states:

47. The entire community of Israel shall make it. ??. ?? ??? ????? ???? ???:

In other words- the Jew who has converted to another religion is explicitly excluded from the community of Israel - they are not part of Bnei Yisrael, they are not Jewish!

When it is said a person remains Jewish regardless of converting, that is actually a statement to their detriment. The full statement should be- "a person remains liable to be judged under Jewish law even after converting to another religion." Thus a Jew who follows another religion would be punished with kares (spiritual excission) after death for being an apostate and abonding Judaism.

Despite all this, "messianic jews" try to claim they are Jewish. Why? For a very simple reason- they are a Christian missionary movement that is using lies, deceit and a "bait and switch" scam to try and convert Jews to Christianity. They are actually not that succesful- by their own admisson at most 20% of people in "messianic jewish" communities have even a tenuous connection to Judaism- and many of those are not Jewish by Jewish standards. External estimates put the number at under 10% with even a tenuous connection to Judaism- and only a tiny fraction of those are Jewish by Jewish standards (i.e. a Jewish mother or a valid conversion to Judaism)

Whats the difference between "messianic jews" and Christians? Nothing- they are a Christian sect using the trappins of Judaism and nothing more

the messianic jewish ignore the laws it's over for us chritians.. they want to follow jesus and the nt but they are wrong.. the new law was given in the mount sermon.. and christians we are not obligated to keep sabbath..or jewish feasts.. jesus did because he was a jew but he opened the church to the pagans also.. the true jewish people even they do not accept christ.. they have rewards with obeying the law of Moses.. but if a jew wants to be christian.. he has to believe in the NT and to left the judaism and the traditions.. those groups called messianic jewish are invented by evangelical groups

"Messianic Jew" is an oxymoron. The core belief that Jesus was/was not the savior of humanity is the reason that Judaism and Christianity split. You cannot merge the two because of this very basic and very enormous difference. Christians can follow the Jewish laws, but by definition they are still only Christians with a lot of spare time on their hands. A jew cannot believe in Jesus as the messiah and still be considered Jewish because that belief defies all sensibilities imbedded within the Jewish religion and violates the one and most important law of being strictly monotheistic (not worshipping a human/body other than god).
