SO, my delightfully elderly 1989 535i's console lights stopped working recently & so did a back light.

I took it to my guys at an independent bimmer shop to discover... it's mice! When they opened the box by my petal a bunch of sunflower seeds feel out ... this happened to me a year ago too when I lived in Louisville.

I keep my car in the garage.

This is going to cost around 1k thank goodness Insurance is covering it.

What should I do to prevent this again? Set mouse traps around my car? They were living in my air ducts & everything. They stored seed in my engine area too?!

Anyone ever have this happen?

I used to love mice till this, lol!

As long as you have no mice in your garage, you should be fine.
Just buy a cat to help keep any rodents away.
