microphone problem.....need real help?

I have this headphones wit microphone............the thing is tat the headphones are recognised by Windows Vista but the microphones are not being detected.......I tried every possible option there is but it turned out to be useless........It shows tat the microphone is workin but i cannot use it at all...........please help me........i am in very much need of ur help.......coz this is the only way i can communicate wit my brother who's overseas...........


P.S.: I have already bought a new one n the O.S. shows the same indications but the mic doesn't work........please help me

Check your sound card control panel. Check the box next to "microphone input". If you have Vista, just search "sound" in the search box. Good luck.
