I am 40 years old and my period was a normal one about 6-7 days. According to charts I should be ovulating right now........and when I went to the bathroom I noticed some blood.......bright red in color. I am not trying to get pregnant. I use to be very regular but I have noticed in the last year that my cycles are different.........a couple of days early mostly. Could this be a sign of perimenopause or something else? Should I be worried?
