I have a mini-fridge in my bedroom that is hooked up to the same surge protector as my computer and monitor. Whenever it stirs to life (which happens now and then), my computer monitor turns off and then turns back on a second later.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I'm not knowledgeable about the electrical setup of my house, or I'd simply change which circuit each of them are using. Is there some sort of surge protector I can purchase that can separate them from each other just in case my room has access to only one circuit?
I was going to ask this on a computer forum, but I wanted a quicker answer so I came here.
