In UFC 93, there were 2 split decisions that really could have gone either way. I think Marcus Davis deserved his win over Chris Lytle, but the Franklin-Henderson fight was too close to call for me.
Who else thinks that for the closest matches - especially the ones that end in split decision - should go an extra (perhaps 3 minute) round to solidify a decision victory. I really hate split decisions. I don't think a fighter needs to put a loss on his record if he fought just as well as the other guy.
