blackberry Q10? What do you know- if you do have info- please elaborate.
a lot of people seem to avoid the fact that we charge our devices whilst linked to computers, they don't seem to appreciate the fact that whilst downloading our music library there is a chance to import viruses from the computer to our phone- or even worse- 'spyware'!

I need someone to answer that has actually tried the spyware and virus protection offered, someone that may work in the mobile phone industry etc and none of this drivel about it being unnecessary- please.

If by mobile security you mean preventing it from getting it stolen, use Blackberry Protect.
If you mean an anti-virus, you don't need that for a smartphone.

If by mobile security you mean anti virus software then there is no clear proven need for it on mobile phones.

We've become conditioned into thinking we must have anti virus software on everything because it is highly advisable to have it on computers running Microsoft Windows but no other operating systems have the inherant architectural weaknesses that Windows has that almost makes anti virus a must have on computers running it.

[spend your money on something that does nothing other than con you into thinking it's doing something then. virus files or otherwise cannot self exectute on mobile phones, a lot of people avoid that fact]
