Mormons & JWs: How many false prophecies does a person need to make to be a false...

...prophet? false prophecy = a prophecy that does not come true
I don't have issues with Mormons. Just Mormon teaching. I want to understand your understanding of various doctrines such as revelation, sovereignty, sin etc.
I am simple asking questions which pop into my head as I read your literature.

Given that many prophecies don't happen within a prophets lifetime, who are you to judge? Isn't it a case of by their work ye shall know them?

Edit: Looking at the additional info you've given your best bet is to go to the church's official website so you can get some in depth research. There is a search section on the right hand side of the home page. Undoubtedly you'll find information about just about anything you want to know. www.lds.org

P.S.Sorry, my initial comment came out snarkier than I meant it too. You could say it's been a long day.

Why don't we start with the prophets from the Bible whose prophecies didn't come forth? Would that make them false prophets?

I think you should have the missionaries come over so you can have a sit down with someone.

I'm sorry if I doubt your sincerity but if you look at the way you phrase your questions, it comes off with the impression that you DO have a problem with Mormons and Mormonism. I can guarantee you that if you ask respectably you'll get answers but many LDS on here don't stoop to answering questions from those who come across and arrogant and hateful. Just my advice to you.

Edit: Like I said, I apologize if I doubt your sincerity to know but in case you weren't aware, many on YA find it acceptable to bait us with questions that appear sincere but then we get turned on and flooded with hateful emails and declarations of gross misrepresentations of who we are and what we believe so sometimes we come across as more protective than we should. If you really want to know anything, I'd be happy to help but please don't mock my beliefs. If you don't accept them, no big deal. I have no problem agreeing to disagree.

Judging by your questions, you have issues with Mormons don't you?! Relax!! We are good people too.
