Motorola atrix problems?

My phone keeps turning itself off and I don't know why. Sometimes when I'm using it it reboots itself or if i put it in my pocket and use it ten minutes later ill have to turn it back on. Also parts of my touch screen don't work
 
It sounds like the shutting off issue could be the battery. I've had that with DROID's and replacing the battery has helped. I'm not sure about your screen though. If you are still in warranty this sounds as a good case to take it to ATT and see if they offer you a replacement. If it hasn't been wet it has a standard 1 year warranty.
