Motorola Atrix screen lights up on its own.?

I just got a Motorola Atrix HD, and sometimes the lock screen where you put your password in lights up automatically. (I don't hit the screen lock button on accident, it lights up on its own). Does anybody have any theories? I had a Galaxy 1 before the Atrix and it did the same thing, i just thought the screen lock button on the Galaxy 1 was just getting worn out cause i had it for round 3 years.
