motorola citrus cell phone??? anyone have it?

I just got the motorola citrus phone from verizon. its kinda hard to txt on. i was wondering when it goes into sleep mode * every couple of minutes of not using it.* can you recieve a call still or a txt notice??? its almost as if the phone is off. u gotta push the power button on to get it outa sleep mode. and put in the password. will all that mess up incoming calls???
