Motorola Cliq xt texting?

Can you text normally with this smartphone? Like you don't have to be connected to the internet or even have internet enabled? Like can you just open up a normal texting inbox and text without having to use special programs? Can you text without being linked to an email or facebook, etc?

You don't need internet to text on any of the android phones. Open apps under Messaging. You can text just like you would on any older non-smart phone. Hope this helps...
