I currently have a motorola droid cellphone through verizon. If I bought a xoom would I need two seperate plans or could I just stick with the one?

You would need another data plan. The data plan for the tablets are different and are not unlimited like the data plan for the cell phones. The cheapest data plan for the tablets (Motorola Xoom) is 1GB for $20, 3GB for $35, 5GB for $50 or 10GB for $80.

I would wait and not in a hurry to rush to get it. The Motorola Xoom is a wonderful android tablet. However Motorola was in a hurry to rush the product out to quickly before they had a chance to make sure the software and hardware was ready. There is no flash support currently for the Motorola Xoom. So you can't watch videos or movies (hulu.com) on the internet. We don't know when there will be a update for flash. Also the 4G data internet is not ready. You would have to send your Xoom device back to Verizon so they can ship it to Motorola to change the hardware to 4G.internet. This takes at least 6 to 10 days before you get your Xoom device back. No word on when this upgrade will take. Also the SD slot for additional memory capacity on the Xoom doesn't work. Apparent Motorola didn't provide drivers for the SD slot and so you cant add memory cards to the device just yet. The next update will probably fix this.

Samsung will make a annoucement on their next Galaxy Tab 10.1 inches and will also have Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) on the device. Stay tuned for more details on March 22, 2011.

Two - one for each
Unless you buy the WiFi Only version
