Pursue Tennis... if it is your dream than go for it! Don't shun your mom.... just tell her its what YOU love and what makes YOU happy and hopefully she'll vouch for your happiness.
Okay, so my mum always asks me like questions such as What do you want to be once schools over, etc. And I love love love love tennis and I'm pretty good, so I'm thinking about making a career out of it. And of course she doesn't agree with this and doesn't think its realistic at all.... and I guess if Tennis didn't work out, I would like to study Drama and get into acting and of course she doesn't agree with that either. She just does this with every thing no matter how big or small the descision is, it always has to be her way...
What can I do? Tennis is something I really want to do but if mum doesn't let me train at a proper tennis academy soon, etc, theres no way I'll be good enough to turn pro.. so what can I do? I mean, it is my life, but she manages to control every detail of my life.
So what can I do? I really wanna go to a particulary academy in another state but I know she won't approve/let me?

And for Tennis I could move states by myself, except its like $250 per week to stay at the academy alone, let alone be trained and compete... So I definately need my mum's help finacially...
