My 1969 gmc truck will not crank. I replaced timing chain and gear, rotor button,?

The only parts involved in cranking the engine are the battery, starter, starter selenoid, ignition switch, and the relevant wiring.

Check to see if you are getting gas to the carb. Pour a little gas in the carb and try to start it. Your fuel pump could be out. You might have to re-check the timing chain just to make sure.

When you say it will not crank, you mean it won't turn over, or it won't start? The term crank is usually used to refer to the starter turning the engine over to start it. If you mean the engine won't start, that could be caused by a lot of things. You have to identify the problem, not just install random parts.
