Ok my son turns 3 at the end of this month... He is talking but alot of times it is hard for other people to understand him and its even hard for me sometimes.. he is doing about 2 sometimes 3 word sentences... I was wondering if this is normal? I just feel like wtih my older son he was speaking alot better at this age. He also starts a daycare/ preschool soon...will this help a little?

If he has been hearing 2 different languages or some oral differences between accents; this might the reason of his incorrect pronunciation problems.

im pretty sure he will grow into it...all babies are different and the starting daycare will help

My son did not speak at ALL until he turned 3. A year later, he is speaking completely normally. Every child is different, and it's pretty common for younger siblings to speak a little slower than their older siblings.

You can have him evaluated by a speech therapist (we did, they recommended therapy but we decided not to, and now I am glad we didn't spend the money) but I think he will improve greatly with pre-school.
