My android onscreen keyboard will not show up anymore?

I guess i made a mistake by downloading a different keyboard and activating that but since i didnt like it i uninstalled it. I checked the android keyboard setting so it becomes on but now it wont show up. What should i do?
 
Try this: open an app where you have to type something, like sending a text message. Press and hold an empty section of the text area until an "Input Method" popup appears. Select "Android keyboard."
 
Try reseting your phone, by taking out the battery and putting it back in. If not that, then try holding down your "Menu" button, and it should pop up. (Of course do this in a typing field). If that doesnt work, then try holding down the text field, like in a text message, when input selection pops up, click that, then ur preference and it should work!
