My bff is mad at me over a rumor she heard and wont talk to me?

Ok so im in 7th grade and im bi and i have this amazingly awesome bff she's bi to and we have been tight for 2 years she was the first one i came out to and i really like her and she knows that.Anyways in 7th grade rumors r always going around so she heard a rumor that i said something about her and she thinks its true. She has never said anything bad about me so i am wondering y i would she think id say something bad about her i am so bummed out cuz i like her alot and she might b moving away and this will be the sixth time this year that someone will leave me its like a curse anyway she wont even talk to me anymore and always ignores me and she even called me a poser and a slut and i dnt even knw what i did and i told her that but she wont listen i talked to her once about this but she was still pissed what do i do

Leave her a message on her phone, myspace, text her, or whatever. Don't confront her in person, give her her space. But just let her know how important she is to you, and that she hurt you as well by calling you those names and actually thinking you would talk bad about her. Just let her know you value and care for her and you would never do anything to hurt her, and you two shouldn't stop being friends over some stupid middle school gossip. Tell her that people spread rumours all the time, and you didn't spread this one. It's very important that you let her know you're very upset and you'll do anything to mend the relationship.
She'll come around soon.

Try to talk to her again, maybe message her on myspace or write her a note or even face to face, but if she doesn't listen and continues to act that way you have to let her blow steam and hope she comes back sometimes they do sometimes they don't, maybe a better friend is coming along. You never know.
