My bird (budgie) has a crusty cira, feet, and vent, could it be mites? And if so...

...how can I get rid of them? My dad won't take my bird to the vet cuz he doesn't have the money so I need a cheap way to get rid of them.
 
it could be mites, which u can just buy medicine for at a store, or it could be a nutritional problem..
make sure ur feeding him seed designed with budgies/parakeets in mind, and maybe even try expanding his diet.

my birds like it when i give them apple slices covered in peanut butter and dipped in the seed...just stuff like that.

broccoli, greens, anything. its worth i try :)
 
There are things for mites in many pet stores. You can find them for like 10-20$ in Petco and Petsmart. I hope that your bird will be okay! :)
