My bluetooth signal on my computer is going off and on, and I'm not sure why...?

I have not had this problem before with out. Problem started recently. At first it would be fine for several hours, now it only stays on for a few minutes before the monitor screen goes black and a "no signal' message comes on. The signal returns, the monitor goes back on but now my cursor will not work (have a blue tooth for wireless mouse also, as well as blue tooth for internet} I then have to turn off the compute, and then take detach both bluetooths from the computer, put them back in, turn the computer back on...now my cursor will work but only until I lose my signal again!
I am losing my signal and my mind because I am not sure what to do! Can anyone offer some knowledge on this issue?
