My boyfriend doesn't want to meet my parents...?

I've been with my boyfriend for about 5 months. We're both 20. I am very much in love with him, I see him in my future..he says he loves me the same way. I've met his parents, I've even lived in their house during the summer! However, my mom really wants to meet him, and whenever I bring it up to him, he freaks out. He says he loves me but thinks it's too early to do this. I don't understand...doesn't he love me enough to do that? My mother is really driving me crazy and making me think like he's not serious enough about me. What can I do, what should I think? :(

First off, tell your Mom to chill.

Secondly, respect the dude's answer and try again in a few months if the relationship is still going. Something may have happened in the past, who knows...

he seems to not be comfortable with meeting your family, you should reassure him and give him confidence so he will feel comfortable with meething your family.

it's too early. the reality is you're relationship is still new. you sound like you fall fast and hard. congrats, but don't scare away a good dude by moving to soon. chill out and go with the flow.

you are too young to be acting overly serious about each other. he most likely thinks that meeting your parents means marriage next. most guys want to have sex with a lot of women before settling down.

maybe he is embarrased or he had done something bad so he doesn't want to meet them so he won't be questioned for his mistake !

Tell him, if he loves you he will meet your parents. Now is the time. Reassure him that it will be ok and that you love him. Just that, now is the time. Tell him your parents aren't going to hurt him. You just have to give him a nudge. Good luck.

Becaus "meeting her parents" means she really has her eye on our money.

Next step you'll be pressuring him for marriage, then once he has a good job and nice house, you'll leave and take his house and half his money.

We are onto you.
