My butt hurts after riding my new bike?

Im a boy and I just learned to ride a bike (Im 14 T_T ), After my first time in life riding a bike for about 4 hours, my butt hurts badly. Is this beacause it was my first time and a long time or cuz my seat sucks?
And would it make any difference if I were a girl?
