I had some kind of short in my electrical system a little while ago. Whenever I went to check out the capacitor, it was reading 0.0 volts, and I could see the charging bulb was blown off of the board. The bulb acts as a resistor (around 470 ohms), but wasn't sure if it doubled as some sort of protective fuse or not.
My question is, can I just solder a regular resistor on there, or do I have to find another one of these bulbs and put it on? If so, where can I find a bulb like this? Radio shack or something?
