My car makes a whining sound when turning or accelerating...what could be wrong with

it? I have an 07 Pontiac Grand Prix. It has just over 80,000 miles on it and I notice that whenever I turn the steering wheel or accelerate, it makes a high pitched whining sound.

What could be wrong with it?
