When i got home this morning, i saw that my cats bottom lip was swollen. The area is hard but it's not really red. Although, it does have a distinct reddish-brown line but it does not look like a scratch or a bite, it looks as though it is an indent from her top lip. I have also noticed her drinking the water from a plant that i keep in my room, the water looks dirty so i try to get her to stop but for he past 2 days she has been drinking from it early in the morning at around 5:00am. She is also a house cat and hasn't been outside aside from the balcony. She is acting normally and doesn't seem to be affected by it. Even so, I'm still worried out of my mind but it would be hard to take her to a vet because of such high fees and being at the age that i am. Please help me! I'm really worried about her and don't want her to be in pain. If it is necessary, I will abide in taking her to the local vet on the nearest day possible being this Saturday.
