My cell phone my touch/T-mobile won't allow me to see any e-mails or folders

in my yahoo mail account? I can get to my yahoo mail account on my phone but when I'm in my inbox it doesn't show any of my unopened mail or folders that I have created. If I hit on my sent items they will show up? Any suggestions?
