...but it wont be in hd when I am? surfing the net my display reads 1920X1080 can I get it to come in even better then 1920X1080 ?
I am using my Sony Bravia full hd 240 hz tv as a monitor and a Galaxy 430 for a video card

without knowing what video card you have or what monitor you are connected to its impossible to answer!

1920x1080 is Full HD resolution, however unless the source is in HD it wont make any real difference.
