Uninstall. Download Frostwire. Frostwire is made by the same company as Limewire and is as fast as Limewire PRO, and is free. And it always works, never had any connecting problems, even though I had a ton with Limewire. Frostwire is also based on the same network, so if you search a song name on Frostwire and the same song name on Limewire, you'll get the same results. And you can download with people having Limewire and Frostwire. Basically it's a free legal copy of Limewire Pro.
