about a year ago she was diagnosed with depression and has been given medication for it i don't know if its because she is depressed, im hurting her or who knows what
Have you notice if it happens to on a specific spot? Or it doesn't matter where you touch her? Is she hurt? My dog got hurt once when he jumped off my high bed and would jump everytime I touched his lower back. Just currious: Do you know what caused her depression? Was it due to losing her buddy? Missed a family member? Poor thing! I hate to see Animals in Pain!! . We all need to help animal shelters. They are overloaded during this bad economy. If we can't help financially, let's do it with our time--few hours a week....
Good Luck!!!! I hope you figure it out and she gets better.
Your pooch needs exercise please! Instead of being on the computer, why not play with your dog, or take her for a walk. A walk is the highlight of almost any dog’s day! I would be depressed if I never went out and got that great feeling of my heart working!
Perhaps that is her way of telling you she is still unhappy/depressed. It could also mean she wants you to pet her more lightly, strongly, or just wants some more loving! Hope I helped.
Note: Depression is NOT bad behavior. It is NOT the dog's fault that she is depressed therefore she cannot be blamed and punished for something she can't control.
