my DVD-ROM doesn't show any data on DVD media. What can I do?

When I put any DVD into the DVD-ROM of my computer, I have auto-run as if it was a blank DVD inside. When I open it in Windows Explorer, it gives me an empty window with apparently 0 objects. It happens with every single DVD-ISO that I have. The weird thing is that it reads CD media normally, but every DVD acts like a blank one. What can I do to fix the problem?
