Pop-eye itself isn't a disease, it's a secondary symptom to something else. Therefore, you should treat that (probably an internal bacterial infection) and not the pop-eye.
Try some Jungle medication for bacterial infections or a wide-spectrum antibiotic. Also, this can be caused by low water quality. Although none of your other fish are having problems, they may have adapted to the water conditions better than your new friend or perhaps your new fish is more delicate in health.

Pop-eye if left untreated, can cause blindness in fish but in really bad cases, say you don't do anything to help it, the eye could burst and the shock could kill your fish. It's hard to say whether or not your fish will be able to see after treatment, but if you caught it early and treat it right, it would be best. Good luck.

Ok so I bought a fish from the pet store, I didnt see anything wrong with it, I put it in my ten gallon tank with a few other fish and I looked at it a day or two later and I thought one of its eyes was pecked out plus I thought it was pregnant.. I moved it to very small tank( since all my other tanks were being taken up by other sick or pregnant fish ) and I looked at it again and I noticed its eye wasnt pecked out but bulging a lot.

Can popeye be cured? If so, Will the fish regain full use of both eyes? And what will popeye do if I dont cure it? And how do I cure it?
