My gay brother is being bullied?
My 16 year old younger brother (I'm 19 by the way) Harry came out to the family about a month ago, and came out to some friends at school at the same time. I'm fine with it, and I told him from the very beginning that his sexuality didn't make me think any less of him. I remember when he came out mum and dad were really too shocked to hear him out straight away, so I took him to my room and had him tell me everything he felt. He was really distressed when he told us, so much so that he broke out into tears. I couldn't help but hugging him at the time, he's a wonderful person and I'm so lucky to have him as a brother.

At school word somehow spread that he was gay, and earlier today he came back bashed and bruised from school. He didn't want to tell mum and dad the real reason why, but he spoke to me and told me that a group of kids from school cornered him and pounded him. He's a really sensitive guy my brother, he only has a small group of close friends, and he's never gotten into a situation like this before. He doesn't really know how to defend himself. I'm so worried about him now, and I don't know what to do. He's uncomfortable with telling mum, and he's even uncomfortable with letting the school know, lest he get bashed again for telling. Is there anything I can do to help him? I love him so much and I don't ever want to see him hurt liike this again.

PS: This is my first time on yahoo answers, so tell me if I'm doing anytihing wrong
