I've had a break up with my now ex and we have two boys together. I got custody of them because of their mothers many problems. I still let my kids see her but it's not supposed to be unsupervised. I don't let them spend the night with her for reasons I won't explain here but trust me there good reasons. I now have a wonderful girlfriend who I love very much. But she hates my ex and really hates it when I let my ex pick the kids up for a few hours on the weekends. I know she's not supposed to be unsupervised with them but my girlfriends little girl went to the hospital last night and my mother was sick and I had to go to work so I called their mother to watch them for a few hours so I could go to work. Well my girlfriend got out of the hospital early this morning which I didn't expect (you know how long that usually takes) and when I told her the kids were with their mother, she got mad and won't talk to me right now. This happens every time they go with their mother. Is my girlfriend being ridiculous or should I do things differently? When my kids come back from their mothers, its like you have to start all over with them teaching them to be respectful. They always do things that get them in a lot of trouble right after they visit their mothers home which isn't her home, she lives with her mom. What can I say to my girlfriend to make her understand me on this or what should I do to understand her. Someone please give me some advice on this. Thanks.
