My hamster has been balding for about 2-3 months already, near his backside (Hind legs, butt area) and his left eye seems to bulge out more than his right, or his right eye is more "closed" than his left, either way they are not symmetrical. Can anyone tell me what is going on? I don't think there is a vet around that specializes in small animals and I don't know what to do. I've cleaned his eye with contact solution, but it doesn't seem to help. And I'm not sure if his balding is due to aging or not because he was given to me and I don't know how old he was when I got him. Any help is appreciated!
