Just over the past couple of weeks, my horse has started to push his shoulder out while turning his head in when we trot left. There isn't a problem at all going right or in either direction at walk and canter. He is fine over fences as well. I am working with 2 trainers to try and figure this out, but so far nothing seems to work. I figured I would give this a try!
FYI...he is a 12 year old SWB TB cross. Teeth are good, no change in tack, feet are fine, and the arena footing hasn't changed. I have even enlisted a Dressage trainer to help (I ride hunter/jumper) thinking that some in depth flat work would help. Working on tons of transitions, circles, and serpentines.
We make progress one day and then we are back to the shouldering the next.
I appreciate any suggestions that anyone can offer. Thank you so much!!
