Computer: Hp Pavilion dv6000 Laptop

Ok, the laptop wouldn't load the OS. I was having problem with the laptop reading the sata drive so i swapped the HDD in my other laptop loaded Ubuntu 10.04 on to it. The HDD works perfect. The laptop wasn't reading it (Now realized I had to change some BIOS settings. I thought that I should reset the BIOS and make sure the connections were secure.

I went ahead and dissembled my laptop, went ahead and cleaned the heat sink and everything. Everything looked fine. I removed the CMOS battery and then put it back in. I assembled everything back together assuming it would work. Now the computer won't even power on. No lights or anything. If i put the battery back in just the power light comes on. I double check all the cables and they were good and working nothing was forgotten (that i can think of).

Is there some trick to getting this to work or any ideas?
