my iphone 3g was unlocked then i clicked restore on itunes, and now it is locked.?

it says my brand new monthly contract sim card won't work on it again. it says i need the original sim card that came with the phone (i don't have it, cause i bought the iphone on ebay) or use a carrier sim. i don't have either. would my sim card work if i just got it unlocked again? please help me, i only got i today!
 
This is what iTunes does to unlocked iPhones.

This happens because Apple is run by commies and nazis.
