My Iphone has stopped clicking!! Help!?

on the side of your phone, is the orange dot showing? that means the sound is turned off

My iphone used to click when you typed in the pass code or just type, and it doesnt even make a noise when i get a voicemail or anything. i went into settings, and sounds and they're was the thing called 'Keyboard click' and it says on but i dont hear a thing. it works when you go into ringers but that's all. i dont know what to do! Please Help!! It's apprreciatied! =]
