My iPhone is broken and out of warrenty?

I don't want to pay the $200 for a new phone. Can I just get a used one on eBay and replace the SIM card and use my iPhone backup on my computer?
After I dropped my phone it randomly turns off, the speakers don't work, I can't access my texts, and I often can't get it to turn on.
 
I wouldn't recommend ebay
just pay the 200 bucks and get a new iPhone 3G
its better than the 1st gen
 
Yes you can, how is your phone broken?
alot of people sold their broken iphone for money, yo can try that and use that money towards another iphone on ebay
 
yes you can...sure about the back up n u just need a pin to push ur sim card out...
