i know 240 hz tv's use motion interpolation to create frames in between existing ones to smooth the animation. it works nicely on my tv except sometimes when a person walks by or the camera follows a person and the background is all thats moving, they get this weird blurryness around them.. is my tv broken? is then engine not interpolating the frames properly? also when i play games and turn quickly, sometimes the crosshair and other HUD items have a jittery effect like the people i described above.
should i see if i can get a replacement? or is this a downside to all 240 hz LCDs?
