MY LG RENOIR TOUCHSCREEN ISN'T WORKING!?

My cellphone LG renoir doesn't work when i touch the touchscreen. It freezes on one icon then doesn't work at all. but the thing is the keypads and the volumes on the side are working. good thing about this is i can still accept and reject calls. how do i manage to fix this? and or is there a possible way to fix it not having spending money at all?
