...exists on my hd? I want to watch house on ninja video.. Divx7 is not compatible with the site and I have to download an older version of DIVX
Im running mac OS X version 10.5.8 I uninstalled divx 7 using their uninstall feature, restarted my computer and emptied the trash.. when I tried to install the correct version of div x it says that I can't because I have the new one still installed somewhere... when I search divx in my HD nothing comes up.. Some sites have said I have to delete it in places such as Library/recipients. However when I search for this my mac tells me, there's no such thing. When I look for it manually I can't find it. Where the hell is this ninja ass divx 7 hiding and how do I locate and remove it? I just want to watch house season 2... that's all i want.
Okay I realize that, I can't download the older version because the newer version left a ghost somewhere so my mac thinks I still have 7 even though I uninstalled it

I don't know anything about Mac computers, but what you need is the older version of the Divx Web Player only, which Ninjavideo provides on their homepage. The web player is installed as an add-on in the browser. If the newer version is there it can be disabled before installing the older version.

Hope this is of some help.
